Jorge Pardo, considered as a band of authentic masters of the flamenco and jazz fusion.
This musical ensemble has been created after the parting of the previous group of Pardo and Benavent, the sextet made history thanks to the New Flamenco and in 1998, during their tour among the most important festival, from Vitoria to Montreal, it is the apotheosis. Inside the band they develop improvisation on flamenco rhythms but with a jazz attitude, choosing Pardo and Benavent's works.
The first CD,
El Concierto de Sevilla, was recorded in the Central Theater of Seville in 1999.
An extraordinary fusion between jazz, flamenco and Mediterranean music.
The last disc "Sin precedentes" includes original themes by the three components of the band and they prove their maturity and complicity they have acquired after a lot of years working together around the world.
