Farruquito is closing the flamenco season of the Veranos de la Villa 2010

The "taconeo" of Farruquito will resound next Saturday in the Sabatini Gardens and will close the last week of the flamenco cycle during the Veranos de la Villa 2010. Also present the guitar player Gerardo Nuñez and the singers José Menese, Arcangel and Mayte Martin.


The dancer from Seville, will close the season of this big event in Madrid, with his artistical offer "Puro", accompanied by 14 musicians, and offering a trip through the flamenco palos.


After his show in the Veranos de la Villa, Farruquito will be on stage on September 9. in the Auditorium of La Palma de Mallorca and on September 21. in the Maestranza of Sevilla Theater for the XV. Flamenco Bienal.

The second phase of the cycle will begin tomorrow with the guitar player Gerardo Nuñez, offering a fusion of flamenco and rock and between jazz and classical music; furthermore he will introduce "Ensemble", his new disc.The musical trip will continue on Wednesday with Arcangel, considerated as "one of the youngest voices" of the current flamenco panorama and who will present "Buscando la memoria", a show offering a new flamenco perspective.The following day the singer José Menese will be on stage with Yunke, a show counting with the collaboration of Laura Vital.



On Friday 20, Mayte Martin will offer "Cantar a Manuel", a recital where the singer of Barcelona will interpret themes based on poetical verses of Manuel Alcántara, from Malaga.Source: 20minutos.es
