It's time for fashion... flamenca!

Let's start a fashion season. Haute couture, ready-to-wear clothes and international podiums: Paris, London, New-york... This kind of fashion does not need any style capital city. Sevilla is living an intense fashion week, and by its way a very flamenco week. The International Exhibition of Flamenco Fashion is back, a classical that we cannot miss. And it's also the beginning for the flounces noises, for the craft industry, the dots and the bright colours. But also for the innovation and business. The Flamenco Fashion is interesting, even if it's undeniable that the economical situation has also affected this sector, but the desire of Feria is there. This SIMOF is the 17. edition of ots history, and will happen at the Exhibitions and Conferences Palace of Seville (FIBES), it will be a record event. From February 3 to 6.

90 exhibitors firms; 29 professional fashion shows with a total of 30 designers/firms, plus the Competition of Young Designers. SIMOF offers more than 1'300 flamenco dresses and on the catwalks we are attending to a sector with interest. The Association of Flamenco Fashion of Andalusia, Mof&Art, the sector's direction, is receiving the start of the season and is hoping to maintain the sale's flow.This SIMOF we will see coexist emergent firms with consolidated designers. An eclectic window and, as always, demonstration of the trendies that will mark the artistic rule of the season. We are talking about nostalgic and bohemian styles, and we confirm the return of the small flounce and also ver frowned and the patterned fabrics are back after years of solid colours and dots.This is the season of fashion... flamenco fashion!
