“Sentir” is the name of the new collection that Vicky Martin Berrocal presents on the 11th of February on the Jerez de la Frontera runway. Passion, sensuality and smartness were present more than never in her flamenco dresses, in which the richness of the fabric and the experimentation of the volumes and the new forms were the key of the success.

Vicky Martín Berrocal was the person in charge of the flamenco runway of Jerez 2010 in La Atalaya center.

The splendid designer Vicky Martín Barrocal got an incredible success in the flamenco runway opening where she presented designs captivating for the public which was totally devoted to the models of the sevillan designer.

Passion, sensuality and smartness were more present than never in “Sentir”, the collection that Vicky Martin Barrocal presented in the flamenco runway of Jerez. A different proposal, as she said and in which she has really been herself, forgetting established rules. Laura Sánchez, her good friend, was the person in charge of opening and closing the show, emphasizing the “dramatic character” of the model on the runway.

White, black and blue were the main characters of the 29 dresses of the collection, far from the printed fabrics that the designer showed en previous collections. She said that they’re “Dangerous” colours, but she wanted to try to use them and they caused sensation.

The skirts with big looseness make the woman figure squeezer, flounces “home brand” and generous necks, which attracted attention because of the stones ornament made in an Indian workshop, the public, which bought all the tickets in two hours, was fascinating by the dresses. The see-through dress which provoked applauses was spectacular.

In the collection “Sentir”, the tulle turned into the base of all the collection, far from silk- until today, her favourite fabric- even if she keeps satins. Moreover, Vicky Martín Barrocal introduced atypical fabrics like cotton, leather or metallic fabrics, nothing frequent in the flamenco mode.
