Javier Limon publie son quatrième album avec la collaboration de 12 femmes, unies sur ce disque dédié aux chanteuses iraniennes poursuivies et passées sous silence.
La date prévue pour le lancement du quatrième album de Javier Limón est le 14 septembre, l'album s'appelle "Mujeres de agua". Il s'agit d'un projet où collaborent les voix de 12 femmes de 5 pays différents: Buika, Mariza, Montse Cortés, Yasmin Levy, La Shica, Eleftheria Arvanitaki, Genara Cortés, Aynur Dogan, La Susi, Sandra Carrasco, Carmen Linares et Estrella Morente.Le premier single devrait être "Agua misteriosa", un thème interprété par La Shica. Le disque sera édité par Universal Music Spain & Casa Limón.
Javier Limon studied piano and guitare at the Conservatory of Madrid and at the Saint Francis Prep of New-York.He starts his professional career composing flamenco themes for artists like Enrique Morente, Estrella Morente, Remedios Amaya, Potito, Montse Cortés...After this first step, he starts his producer career. Among his most important projects are: "Cositas Buenas" by Paco de Lucia, "Lagrimas Negras" by Bebo y Cigala, "El Pequeño Reloj" by Enrique Morente, "La Rosa Blanca" by Montse Cortés, "Sencilla Alegria" by Luz Casal, "Tinta Roja" by Andrés Calamaro, "Anatomía" by Ana Belen, "La Vida" by Ainhoa Arteta, "Mi Niña Lola" de Buika, "Terra" by Mariza...In 2004 he received a few awards for his work, for example the Latin Grammy for the best producer of the yeay and the Music Award for the artistical production.Limon is the Spanish flamenco producer counting with 6 Grammy awards, he is known worldwide and very appreciated.Since 2003 he directed some records in Palestine, Bogota, Bristol, Paris, Bahia, Buenos Aires, New-York, Marocco, Lebanon... He created his own musical label, Casa Limon, based on the cultural differences and on the importance of the roots. In 2010 he will combine the presentation of his new album "Mujeres de Agua" with his new position of teaching in the Berklee College of Music, in Boston (USA).
