Embroidered triangular shawls are usually made of soft, lightweight fabric, such as silk or cotton, and are decorated with vibrantly coloured threads and traditional motifs, such as flowers, leaves, fruits and birds. Because it is made by hand, each shawl is unique and reflects the skill and creativity of the artisan who made it.
