This album of Martirio and Chano Domínguez is a mix between the ‘copla’ and the jazz. The singer Martirio and the pianist Chano Dominguez with their Big Band give us this terrific album ‘Acoplados’, in this CD editated by RTVE music with the colaboration of the ‘Orquesta Sinfónica de RTVE’, directed by Adrian Leaper.
It is the summary of his whole life, 25 years of work reflected in this wonderful album, recorded live at the ‘Teatro Monumental de Madrid'.
Chano Dominguez says that it is universal to combine copla with jazz.
This album is composed by 12 classic copla tittles, among them 'La bien pagá', 'Me embrujaste', 'Torre de arena', 'Ojos verdes', 'Compuesta y sin novio' and 'Nana vidalita de filigranas', between others.
