Perito Rico is a pioneer of the Spanish song. He's recorded more than 10 discs, including hits like Mi escapulario, La campanera and Dos cruces. Among his songs you'll añso find La Zarzamora, El cordón de mi vestido, Mis palillos gitanos, La Lola de las salinas, Un mano a mano and Un gitano español.
He became popular around all Latin America with his film "El ángel de España" . There he's well known as Pedrito Rico.
