The fusions of Paco with McLaughlin, Di Meola and Coryell have delivered a musical swirl with overwhealming international success. More than once, Paco has gotten close to genres like jazz and salsa. It is interesting to know his opinion of the Fusion Music many talk about: 'Fusion may yield results even if I don't believe in it. In my works with Larry Coryell, John McLaughling and Al Di Meola the music was neither Flamenco or Jazz, it was a fusion of musicians rather than of genres'.
